Toowoomba Hockey Association will host the upcoming 2014 Australian Men’s and Women’s Country Championships, to be held on August 2^nd – 9^th.

The 8 day tournament will be held at the Toowoomba Hockey Centre at Clyde Park at 564 ‐ 582 Boundary Road.

This year’s Championships will see Men’s and Women’s Country teams from New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria, Queensland and the Australian Defence Force compete for the 2014 title.

Toowoomba Hockey President Steve Stewart said, “Toowoomba Hockey is very excited to be hosting a National event at our grounds; it’s a great event for Toowoomba as a city as well the hockey community!”

The  tournament in 2013 was won by New South Wales in both the Men’s and Women’s competitions.
