The melodic music and dances of Pacific Islander communities will be the headline attraction when Pasifika Toowoomba performs at the 11th Toowoomba Languages and Cultures Festival on Sunday, August 14.

  • Pasifika Toowoomba, includes members from Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and VanuatuToowoomba’s many faces will combine for an exciting trip around the world from 10am-4pm at Queens Park. “Rejoicing in our Diversity shows a great sense of civic pride and maturity”. We can learn and be enriched by experiencing a little of the fabulous food, music and dance of the cultural groups that come from all corners of the world.The Toowoomba Languages and Cultures Festival is a community-driven event promoting peace, harmony, goodwill in a day of family fun.Featuring:Pasifika Toowoomba

    Sunday, 14th August was an exceptional day (more like Spring Than Winter) and thousands of people turned out for the Languages and Cultures Festival. Toowoomba Regional Radio personality Krazy Kevin, one of the comperes, was kept busy commuting between 3 stages, but did manage to grab some photos with the performers.
