A Stroll Down Broadway For Toowoomba Hospice

If you like music from Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Rogers and Hammerstein, Gershwin and Bernstein well this is one musical evening you don’t want to miss!

‘A Stroll Down Broadway’ will feature music from hit Broadway shows Mamma Mia, Showboat and Westside Story to name a few, the  music will be provided by The Toowoomba Municipal  Band who are great supporters of the Hospice and they will be joined on stage with an exciting new choir ‘The Accidentals’

Promotions and Fundraising Manager Mr. Mark Munro said a stroll down Broadway will feature a Special Guest Soloist – Opera QLD Developing Artist – Dominic Walsh, “Dominic is part of an intensive program for Developing Young Artists at Opera QLD which extends the opportunities for young singers to benefit from the company’s professional development resources who are studying for a career in opera, whilst allowing the flexibility for them to pursue other study and work commitments”

The Toowoomba Hospice provides a FREE palliative care service; based on mutual respect and trust and the needs for those who come to us and their families with a terminal illness. “All monies raised locally stay locally to support the local community and businesses” Said Mr. Munro

A Stroll down Broadway will be Compered by Robert Ketton and there will be 2 at the USQ Arts Theatre – Saturday 27 March – 7.30pm,  Sunday 28 March – 2pm, Admission: Adults $20 – Concessions/Students $15, tickets can be purchased from Empire Theatre Booking office in Neil street or by ringing 1300 655 299

The Newly formed Choir have been attending regular rehearsals since late last year to ensure they hit the right note for ‘A Stroll Down Broadway’…
