The Haden Community Club was originally formed on the 29th September 1983 by a group of women who wanted to work for charities represented in the Rosalie & Crow’s Nest Shires.

The object of the club has been to promote social activity, to teach and learn crafts and to do whatever possible for the betterment of the community.

The club is non-profit making, and all money raised is used for the benefit of the community or donated to charitable institutions and local organisations.

The first project was to raise money for a 100 piece of setting of crockery and cutlery for the Haden Hall.To date the Club has donated a total of $36,267 to various charities including the Haden Hall, school, playground equipment for Haden Park, bushfire brigade, local cemeteries, Crow’s Nest ambulance, Red Cross and Blue Care. Funds have been raised by running bus trips and local functions in the Haden Hall.
