Heritage Announces Charity Golf Day Beneficiaries

Heritage Building Society has selected five local charitable organisations to share the proceeds of its annual Charity Golf Day – the richest one-day amateur charity golf event on the Darling Downs.

Heritage is aiming to raise $40,000 on Friday, 3 December when more than 200 players tee off at the 13th annual Charity Golf Day at the City Golf Club.

That is on top of the $340,000 already raised in the last 12 years of the event’s history.

This year’s event was launched by Heritage CEO John Minz at the Toowoomba PCYC .

Heritage CEO John Minz and Sergeant Cam Crisp from the Toowoomba PCYC, one of five local charitable organisations which will share in $40,000 proceeds from this year's Heritage Charity Golf Day.

The beneficiaries of this year’s event are as follows:

· AEIOU Foundation

· Endeavour Foundation

· Kiyua Performing Arts Inc

· Teen Challenge Queensland

· Toowoomba Police Citizens Youth Club

The fund recipients will each use their donation to complete key projects that will help educate, support and benefit their community.

The Heritage Charity Golf Day is just another way that Heritage demonstrates its commitment to building communities by supporting local charities and other groups.
