Heritage Charity Golf Day Set To Surpass $400,000 Milestone

Heritage Building Society has announced the eight local organisations that will share this year’s proceeds from its annual Charity Golf Day – the richest one-day amateur charity golf event on the Darling Downs.

Heritage is aiming to raise $40,000 on Friday, 25 November when more than 200 players tee off at the 14th annual Charity Golf Day at the City Golf Club in Toowoomba. If this occurs, it will surpass the $400,000 milestone in total funding raised in the event’s 14-year history.

The beneficiaries of this year’s event are:

· Clifford Park Special School
· Darling Downs and South West Region Crime Stoppers Committee
· Friends of the Birth Centre
· Multicap Disability Support
· St John’s Ambulance
· Toowoomba Food Co-operative
· Toowoomba Youth Services
· Toowoomba PCYC

The fund recipients will each use their donation to complete key projects that will help educate, support and benefit their community.
