The Toowoomba Tadpoles swimming club is hosting a Swim-a-thon & Market on Saturday 23 January 2010 to raise funds for the Toowoomba Hospice.
The event will be held at the Glennie Aquatic Centre & carpark from 8am. Market stalls will include Sausage sizzle, Ice Creams, craft, produce & a variety of other stalls and Cleo the clown.
Councillor Peter Marks and other local identities will be taking part in the swim-a-thon. A multi-draw raffle will also be held – prizes include a Framed Australian Swim Cap autographed by Christian Sprenger – Current World Record Holder for 200m Breaststroke.
