Toowoomba Region’s Dams Exceed Capacity (Again)

Toowoomba Regional Council has advised the three storage dams have spilled over on February 25th following further significant rainfall across their catchments.

With in excess of 100mm flowing over their spillways, Cressbrook, Perseverance and Cooby Dams have been closed to all recreational pursuits until further notice.

Council officers will continue to closely monitor the situation and members of the public will be advised when the dams reopen for recreational use.
