Dawn Fraser, indubitably Australia’s greatest Olympian will be the after dinner guest speaker this month at the City Golf Club in Toowoomba.
In November 1999, Dawn was awarded “World Athlete of the Century” at the World Sport Awards in Vienna. In the same year Dawn was also awarded “Athlete of the Century” by the Australian Sports Hall of Fame. She was voted the person who best symbolises Australia and was included as one of Australia’s National Living Treasures.
Dawn Fraser OAM will be in Toowoomba to help raise money for the Toowoomba hospice on Friday 22nd of October. The Dawn Fraser Charity Dinner will also include a Charity Auction, Lucky Door Prize and Mini Raffle.
This is one Charity Event not to be missed! Limited tickets are now available – $75 per person, 6.30pm for a 7pm start, buffet dinner, drinks (beer, wine and softdrinks) and you’ll be raising money for a GREAT local charity – the Toowoomba Hospice!
