Police Appeal For Toowoomba & Lockyer Flash Flood Images

Police are seeking public assistance in obtaining photographs and videos of people caught in the flash flooding which occurred in areas of Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley on January 10.

During the afternoon a severe and sudden weather event struck the Toowoomba region causing flash flooding and the loss of a number of lives.

Anyone with images or videos is asked to call the Toowoomba Major Incident Room on 4631 6400 between 8am and 4pm to discuss their images or video and to make arrangements for their collection.

Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day.
