A Wonderful Evening Not To Be Missed

Empowering Young Women In A Changing World

st-saviours-studentsSt Saviour’s College Showcase highlights the efforts of students and their teachers in the classrooms of the Performing and Creative Arts.

Held annuall, the Showcase is a tremendous opportunity for students to take to the stage and entertain audiences, and for those in the audience to appreciate the abilities of the students as they perform for them on stage.

The range of student talent – nurtured by staff and family – is wonderful:  vocal duets and solos, violin, ukulele, tap dance, contemporary dance, acro-dance and traditional cultural dance, drama and some comedy. As well, the Visual Arts classes host an exhibition the audience is able to enjoy with canapes and mocktails prior to the show, and at interval.

Apart from performances, a number of students work backstage and in the bio-box, gaining valuable skills linked to their Senior studies.

St Saviour’s College is in Neil Street, Toowoomba between Lawrence and Neil Streets, with the Callaghan Centre located on the corner of Neil and Perth Streets. The Showcase will begin at 7pm on Wednesday 17th August, with refreshments  available from 6.15pm. Entry is by a gold coin donation and everyone is welcome to attend for a very enjoyable evening.
